A successful holiday starts with good preparation – and sometimes with a few unanswered questions. That’s why we’ve compiled the most important details about your booking, arrival, amenities and services in a clear format. If you’re still unsure about anything, of course we’re always available to clear up any queries you may have.
What’s the weather like in Serfaus?
All current weather information for the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region can be found on the following websites.
When can rooms be accessed, and when do they have to be vacated?
Room check-in from 3 p.m. | Room check-out by 10 a.m.
Accommodation and use of our inclusive services start with check-in and end with check-out.
Reservations are only confirmed once a deposit has been paid and our confirmation has been received.
All listed prices exclude tourist tax of €3.70 per night (applicable for guests aged 16 and over – as of 2024).
Can kids use the pool?
Our 32-degree outdoor infinity pool is a highlight for the whole family and may, of course, be used by guests of all ages.
Can kids use the spa area?
Our spa area complete with saunas and relaxation rooms is reserved for guests aged 14 and over. Our sauna also includes a fresh-air area.
Can half board be added on site?
You’re welcome to decide to opt for half board on site and add this service spontaneously.
When is breakfast served?
Our gourmet breakfast is available daily from 7.30 a.m. to 10 a.m..
Is there a secure bicycle room?
Yes, just behind reception we have a bicycle room with plenty of sockets for plugging in e-bikes. It’s open during the day and otherwise accessible using your room card.
Are there rooms or apartments with kitchens at Hotel Das Köhle?
None of our rooms or suites include a kitchen. However, next to our guest lounge we have a small tea kitchen with a kettle, microwave, crockery, cutlery and glasses, which can be accessed at all times.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Thank you for your understanding that pets are not permitted at Hotel Das Köhle.
Where is smoking permitted?
Our entire hotel is non-smoking indoors. You’re welcome to smoke on the balconies, on the terrace, in front of the restaurant and in the outdoor area of the guest lounge.
Can you drive to the hotel in Serfaus?
Yes, there are parking spaces for arrival and departure directly in front of the hotel. For the duration of your stay, we’ll either assign you a garage space in the “Gewerbepark Serfaus” (secure hotel garage approx. 500 m away) or a nearby car park at Hotel Das Köhle. You can reach the garage easily and free of charge via the underground (station directly opposite the hotel).
How can you pay, and is a deposit required?
To confirm your reservation, please pay a deposit by bank transfer for the specified amount (approx. 30% of the total). The remaining balance can be paid the day prior to departure in cash, by EC card, VISA or MasterCard without any fees being charged.
Can electric cars be charged on site?
We have a charging point located on site at the hotel and there’s a supercharger at the entrance to Serfaus. Both options are subject to a fee.
What cancellation policy applies at Hotel Das Köhle?
Sometimes life doesn’t go as planned. That’s why we’ve made our cancellation policy as fair and transparent as possible. To ensure you can book your holiday with full peace of mind, here are all the details on deadlines and fees.
The following cancellation conditions apply to all bookings from 01/01/2025.
Up to 3 months before your planned arrival date: free cancellation
1 month to 3 months before your planned arrival date – 40% of the total package price charged
1 week to 1 month before your planned arrival date – 70% of the total package price charged
1 day to 1 week before your planned arrival date – 90% of the total package price charged
No-show/early departure – 100% of the total package price charged
Is it possible to take out travel insurance?
Please inform us as early as possible if you are unable to travel here for your holiday. We recommend all guests take out travel cancellation insurance with Europäische Reiseversicherung when booking.

Here you’ll find all details on our seasonal prices, tourist tax and discounts – clearly laid out, easy to understand and with no hidden costs.
Winter prices
Winter prices apply per room for 2 adults per night for stays of 7 nights or more.
Medium stay: 3–6 nights +10%
Short stay: 1–2 nights +20%
Summer prices
Summer and autumn prices apply per room for 2 adults per night for stays of 3 nights or more.
Short stay: 1–2 nights +10%
Tourist tax
All prices exclude tourist tax of €3.70 per night for guests aged 16 and over (as of 2024).
Discounts & discount for kids
These apply only from three people in one unit. The base rate applies to 2 adults per room (except single rooms).
Holidays & events
Occupancy/base rate on holidays and during special events
This increases for New Year’s Eve, during Carnival and at Easter, as well as in the high season for family rooms and suites with a minimum occupancy of 3 to 4 people.
